360 Panoramic Views of Toshihiko Izutsu Bunko
Overview of the Website
This website provides you with 360 panoramic images of the library and study located in the house of Toshihiko Izutsu, a professor emeritus at Keio University. The images show you what the room was like back then.
Izutsu's book collection was donated to Keio University in 1999, a few years after his death. Initially the books were kept in his house in purpose of preservation. The room was intended to be kept in the condition as close as possible to the time Izutsu was alive. We eventually filmed the room for a record when the books were relocated to Mita Media Center in 2015.
