End of Waivers for Cambridge University Press APCs (Article Processing Charges)

The Read & Publish agreement of Cambridge University Press, in which Keio University has been participating, is going to be terminated at the end of 2022.
In order to qualify for the APC waivers, make sure to apply before December 27, 2022 at 5 p.m.

If your application is rejected, you need to follow a certain procedure.
It depends on the publishing type of the journal you are planning to submit to.
Below are the cases and options you may choose:

1. In case of gold OA, you are required to pay the APC on your own.
2. In case of hybrid OA, choose either of the below:
(1) Make payment for the APC to publish the article open access
(2) Contact the editor to publish the article on a subscription basis
