Library materials purchases (Hiyoshi Library)

The Hiyoshi Media Center (Hiyoshi Library) purchases materials to support the learning, educational, and research activities at Hiyoshi Campus. When materials you wish to use are not available in the collections at Hiyoshi Library, you can make a purchase request.
Please note that we may not be able to fulfil your purchase requests if the materials do not satisfy the book selection policy of the library.

Overview

  • This service can be availed of by faculty and staff members, graduate and undergraduate students, and correspondence course students (students who have completed their registration for graduation thesis supervision/year-round students) affiliated with Keio University.
  • Before applying, please be sure to check whether or not the materials you desire are available on KOSMOS.
  • It will take approximately 2 to 3 weeks for books in the Japanese language and 1 to 3 months for books in foreign languages to become available to use. In the case of journals, it will take time for a purchase decision to be made.
  • In principle, e-book editions of books will not be purchased if a hard copy of the work is held in the library collection. If you wish to specially request an e-book edition for which a hard copy is available, please be sure to write the reason or purpose for the request.
