Requesting Items from the Faculty Research Building Closed Stacks

Items held at Mita Media Center and listed in KOSMOS as located in the "Faculty Research Bldg. Closed Stacks ○○" must be requested in advance using the form below. Please read the following information carefully before submitting your request.

*This form should be used only for items that cannot be requested through KOSMOS. If you can log in to KOSMOS and see the "Book Request" button for the item, please submit your request through KOSMOS.

Request Guidelines

  • Requests are accepted starting 7 days prior to your requested date of use. Please refer to the table below and apply well in advance.

By 13:30 on weekdays (Mon-Fri) From 15:00 on the same day
After 13:30 on weekdays, or on weekends,
national holidays, and extra service days		 From 15:00 on the next weekday the library is open

*These times apply if the items can be retrieved without issue. Please note that for same-day requests, preparation may take longer depending on the number of items requested.

  • Requested items will be held at the Old Building Service Counter. We do not notify you when items are ready, so please visit the counter after the times indicated above.
  • If the requested items are on loan or if there is an issue with the request details, we will contact you via the email address provided in the form.
  • If you do not collect the items on your requested date of use, we will return them to the stacks thereafter.
