Search agency/performance research

We support database search on the author's behalf, the preparation of clinical practice guidelines and systematic reviews. We also survey research achievements for researchers.

About the basics of how to search for and collect literature, use for databases, and operate citation management tools, please apply for our " Custom-made Seminar " service (Japanese only).
Eligible persons This site is intended for faculty and staff members, undergraduate students, and graduate students (master's and doctoral programs) of the School of Medicine, School of Nursing and Medical Care, Graduate School of Medicine, and Graduate School of Health Management who are currently writing reports or papers, and who already have experience using databases such as PubMed and Igaku Chuo Zasshi Web, and who use history searches using controlled terms and various filtering functions.

Content We will guide you through search techniques for collecting literature for prior research, scoping reviews, and systematic reviews according to your research topic and requests.
The databases we use are mainly PubMed and Igaku Chuo Zasshi Web, but we also support contracted databases such as the Cochrane Library (CDSR/CENTRAL), CINAHL, and PsycINFO.

Required time About 60 minutes
Place The seminar will be held at the Shinanomachi Media Center Reference Desk or Active Area, laboratory, or online (via Zoom).
Application Please fill in the necessary information on this reservation form at least three open weekdays before the desired date.
When making a reservation, please submit your research plan and references. The date and time will be discussed with the person in charge.
