Study Spaces
Shinanomachi Media Center offers various types of study spaces for different study needs: quiet, individual study areas and group or collaborative study areas.

Active Area [1F]

The Active Area is a collaborative area with white boards, moveable chairs and tables, and screen sharing options.
3 ITC-PCs and 1 printer are available.
*Your Keio ID is required to use media center computers.

Normal conversation volume is expected.
■ Food and Drink Policy:
Hot and cold drinks with a lid are allowed.
Only snacks that are NOT smelly or messy are allowed.
Manabiba Booth

"Manabiba Booth" is a space for group use. You can reserve the booth on the Web.
Details:
- 2 booths with whiteboard.
- Each booth can accommodate up to 6 people.
- Outlets and Wi-Fi/keiomobile2 are available.
- It is a suitable place to group work, discussions, lectures, presentation practice, seminar activities, etc.
- This booths are only for members of Keio University.
Reservation
Reserve- You need a Keio ID to use the reservation form.
- Please enter the required information, such as your desired date and time, into the form. (You cannot select Booth A or B.)
- Each reservation slot is 60 minutes.
- You may reserve up to two slots during the same time period. Please refer to the "Manabiba Booth Reservation Calendar" below before making your reservation.
- After completing your reservation, please check in at the service counter on the day of your reservation. (Student ID, library card, or faculty/staff ID required)
- More than 30 minutes late for the reserved time without notifying, the reservation will be cancelled.

Any time slot marked as "Busy" on the calendar is already reserved.
Browsing Area [1F]

The Browsing Area, placed next to the entrance of the library, is a place to access the latest medical materials such as medical newspapers, new arrival serials and books. It offers small sofas.

Quiet Study Room [B1]

The Quiet Study Room is a place where you can do more focused work.
It offers carrels and electrical outlets for individual, quiet study.

Talking is prohibited.

Beverages in spill-proof containers are allowed.
Food is not permitted.
e-Learning Room [B1]

The e-Learning Room is a space to take online classes for students.
Use headphones when listening to music, watching videos or attending an online class.
Bring your laptop PCs. Wi-Fi service (keiomobile2) is available. 5 ITC-PCs are also available.

You can watch and listen to audio-visual items using the equipment at the Media Room.
