Guide for Eligible Users

Undergraduate Students

  • A Student ID card is required to enter and exit the library.
  • You are not allowed to enter the reading room on the 4th floor. Please see this page if you want to use the materials on the 4th floor.
  • You are not allowed to enter the Kyoseikan Library. If there are materials you want to read, you must apply in advance to the Hiyoshi Media Center for access. Please refer to Kyoseikan Library website in advance.

Graduate Students

  • A Student ID card is required to enter and exit the library.
  • You can enter 4th floor only on weekdays(※). Use of Cubicles which are private rooms for researchers will be accepted only on the day of use(Today).
    ※except holidays-open hours(for class dates)

Keio Senior High School Students

  • Keio Senior High school students need to have Student ID for entering Hiyoshi Library.
  • You should fill out the application form at the entrance counter.
  • Also in case that you have borrowed library card at the Keio Senior High School library, you need to fill out the application form.
  • You cannot enter the library from two weeks before the start of the university examination period and the examination period of Keio Senior High School until the end of the examination without a library card that you have borrowed at the Keio Senior High School library.
  • After the graduation of Keio Senior High School until the time of admission to Keio University, you can enter the Hiyoshi Library by filling out the application form.
About borrowing books of the Hiyoshi Library
  • A library card is required to borrow the books of the Hiyoshi Library. If you would like to borrow the books, please ask the Keio Senior High School Library.

Visitors

Hiyoshi library is not open to the general public. However, the patrons from our partnership university libraries and the persons who have a letter of introduction are allowed to visit and use its collections.

Persons affiliated with other universities, members of the general public
Kanagawa region university library consortium's library card holders (神奈川県内大学図書館共通閲覧証)
  • Undergraduate students are not allowed to enter our library with the card. If there are materials you want to browse in our library, please contact your library for a letter of introduction.
  • Graduate students and faculty/staff may enter the library by presenting the card and your ID card at the reception desk.
    Available services: Browsing and copying of materials
    Please consult with your library about the issuance of the card.

  • If there are materials you want to browse in our library, please check the holdings through your university library and contact your library staff for a letter of introduction.
    You cannot enter Hiyoshi library by presenting your student ID card or faculty ID card.
    Materials available for use are limited to those held by the Hiyoshi Library.
    Interlibrary loan service for materials held at other Keio libraries is not available.
