Using Items in the Closed Stacks(Laboratories, Raiosha Reference Library and Hiyoshi Depository)
Materials searched by KOSMOS and having a location of "Hiyoshi Media Center *** lab.", "Raiosha Reference Library" or "Hiyoshi Depository" can be used as the following instructions. Please note that they can not be borrowed.
Requesting closed stacks items
Items in closed stacks can be requested on the following form and used in the Hiyoshi library. It may take some time to prepare, especially requsted item is in a laboratory.
Request form for closed stack items
*The conditions for using materials vary depending on the laboratory. Mathematics laboratory materials can be kept in the library for a period of up to 3 days, shorter than other laboratory materials.
*Items in the Hiyoshi Depository can be available for approximately in 1-2 days from the request. Details as follows.

*Holidays requests will be accepted on the following opening week day.
*Items in the Hiyoshi Depository and Raiosha Reference Library can be requested directly at the Reference Desk by 5:00 p.m. on weekdays. However, online order in advance is highly recommended.
Entering the closed stacks (Faculty and staff only)
Faculty members can enter and use the Hiyoshi Depository and the Raiosha Reference Library. An appropriate IC card is required to enter these stacks.
Hiyoshi Depository
Faculty members(including Library Membership Card for KEIO Alumni, Full-time faculty and staff affiliated with Waseda University) can borrow an IC card key that can enter the depository at the Main Counter on the 1st floor of the Hiyoshi Library. If you register at the Main Counter, you can enter directly with your faculty / staff ID card or Raiosha or Koseikan IC card. (Registration hours: Weekdays 8:45a.m. - 5:00p.m.)
The depository can be used from the opening of Hiyoshi Library to 30 minutes before closing.

Raiosha Reference Library
KEIO Faculty members with Raiosha IC card keys can enter and use the Reference Library on the 3rd floor of the Raiosha for 24 hours. If you do not have it, please present your faculty / staff ID card or library card at the Raiosha reception desk and borrow the card key.
